Chronicles of Altaran Book 3: Forging the Fellowship

Elves– Eight-foot tall denizens of the Great Forest, elves live in a matriarchal society where the women rule and provide the warriors while the men engage in the fine arts. Worshippers of Makir and pacifists, the elves deeply distrust the warlike humans.

Ghorrim– With the appearance of a miniature Tyrannosaurus rex, these reptilian, sentient dwellers of the Wasting Desert are perfectly adapted to their environment. They live in small clans governed by a clan chief and are polytheists, and zenophobic.

Humans– Humans are the inventors and builders of Altaran, creating cities and exploring their world. Despite their sometimes-violent tendencies and uncertain loyalty to Makir, humans are the recipients of Makir’s revelation, The Chronicles of Altaran.

Shinorbs– Shinorbs are pure energy beings who can take any material form they choose. At times, they act as Makir’s messengers to the other races. They prefer to spend their days in the pursuit of knowledge and metaphysical speculation.
